Diagnostic Imaging

X-Rays & Analysis Onsite

Onsite X-rays let us see what’s happening beneath the surface, right at your first visit, so we can build an accurate, informed treatment plan from day one. Here’s how onsite imaging works at Kyro Care.

What Is X-Rays & Analysis Onsite?

Onsite X-ray and analysis means we can capture and review diagnostic images right here in our office, without sending you to a separate imaging center or making you wait days for results. This lets us see the structure of your spine and joints directly, which can reveal issues that aren’t apparent through physical exam alone.

X-rays are particularly useful for evaluating bone alignment, joint spacing, degenerative changes, and ruling out fractures or other structural concerns before beginning treatment, especially for new patients or those with a history of injury.

How X-Rays & Analysis Onsite Works

Onsite imaging is typically integrated into your evaluation when clinically appropriate.

Clinical evaluation

We first determine whether imaging is appropriate based on your symptoms, history, and physical exam findings.

Digital X-ray capture

If indicated, images are captured using our onsite digital X-ray equipment.

Same-day review

We review the images with you, explaining what we see and how it informs your treatment plan.

Benefits of X-Rays & Analysis Onsite

  • Faster diagnosis — without the delay of a separate imaging center visit.
  • Informs an accurate treatment plan — based on what’s actually happening in your spine or joints.
  • Rules out serious conditions — such as fractures, before beginning hands-on treatment.
  • Low-dose digital technology — that minimizes radiation exposure compared to older film-based systems.
  • Convenient, single-visit process — that saves you time and additional appointments.

What to Expect

If imaging is recommended as part of your evaluation, here’s what the process typically looks like.

  • A discussion of why imaging is recommended for your specific case
  • A quick, straightforward X-ray capture process, typically taking just a few minutes
  • A same-day review of your images and what they show
  • A treatment plan informed directly by your imaging results

Good to know

Not every visit requires X-rays — we only recommend imaging when it’s clinically appropriate. call 386-400-3620 with any questions about whether you may need imaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need an X-ray at my first visit? +

Not always. We determine whether imaging is appropriate based on your specific symptoms, history, and physical exam findings.

Is onsite X-ray safe? +

Yes. We use low-dose digital X-ray technology, and images are only taken when clinically indicated.

How long does it take to get results? +

Since imaging is captured and reviewed onsite, you typically receive your results the same day, often within the same visit.

Why is imaging important before starting treatment? +

Imaging helps us rule out fractures or other structural concerns and gives us a clearer picture of what’s happening in your spine or joints, which helps inform a safe, effective treatment plan.

Do I need a referral for X-rays? +

No, imaging performed as part of your chiropractic evaluation doesn’t typically require a separate referral, though this can vary by insurance plan.

What can X-rays show that a physical exam can’t? +

X-rays reveal the structure of bones and joints directly, including alignment, joint spacing, and degenerative changes, which aren’t always apparent through physical exam alone.
